This paddock is 3 acres of flat ground and is also the site of our training area. However, we also use it for grazing at certain times of the year when the grass is plentiful. Currently this area has a full size 60m x 20m post and rail grass arena, jumping course, 20 newly planted trees to provide future shade. The future for this area also includes a 20m round yard and 20 yards, while the long term project includes 18 stables, a foaling stable and a wash bay, which will be connected to the yards, However, this development is some time away. All our agistees have full use of any of the facilities at this centre.

This paddock is 1/2 an acre of two diet paddocks that we have. The grass is generally kept down at the end of winter ready for the spring and is used for those horses that need to have weight control to minimise the health issues that can occur. This yard is 18m by 14m and is complete post and rail with a fence height of 2.4m.

The yard can be used for ground work, as a holding yard or other purpose where confinment may be necessary.

In this area there are two under- cover wash down/grooming bays which provide shelter while grooming or washing your horse. There is also one bay outside for those nice sunny days.

The tack shed is also located in this area.

GROUP AGISTMENT RATES

Our group agistment packages involve the horses being in a small group with a maximum of 6 horses in the largest paddocks to only 2 horses in the smaller paddocks. These paddocks are between 2-1/2 acres and 8 acres. The horses are allocated a paddock based on their requirements, personality, and temperament. This helps to eliminate conflict within the group, so everyone can enjoy a peaceful relaxing time.

INDIVIDUAL AGISTMENT RATES

Our individual packages involve each horse having their own paddock while still having friends next door to socialise with. These paddocks are from 1/2 acre to 1-1/2 acres.
